...was full of talks about philosophy. mukhang magigi na kaming mga philosophers, kung hindi man, mga pilosopo! :s
for the first time since june 2008, i was now able to spend my weekend NOT in the dorm. i went to my cousin and slept over together with my sister. 2 days of laughter that i haven't had for 2 months. at long last!
but haven't i realized we just slept about 6.30 in the morning. from 10pm to 6.30, we were talking about different kinds of philosophies: existence, belief and faith GOD, religions, 666, technology, true love, the difference of 'you believe in GOD' from 'my relationship with GOD', satanism, hotel rwanda, the bible, prophecies, arroyo-bush relationship, and the END OF OUR WORLD. (+ some gossip girl updates from my cousin :D)
that one-sleepless-night talk, i think, changed a part in me. i dunno. it was awkward talking to my cousins about these stuffs. i felt creepy, afraid, convinced (or not), challenged or amazed... of how life is difficult to understand...
i'm speechless. i changed. ewan. creepy... all those hidden symbols and stuffs. :s

how's that - an A for me in PE.
grabe na 'to. i have never imagined getting an A in PE for a practical test. at sa sobrang tuwa, i'm now blogging early in the morning, because i woke up minutes earlier than i usually do.
before the practical test, we were given time to practice. at biruin mo ba naman, may bigla na lang sumalpok sa mukha ko na volleyball. at nahilo ako dun. and i suppose yun yung nagtrigger ng aking athletic intelligence (whoa! is there such a thing!?) kahapon sa practical test.
BASTA. i was so happy about my yesterday. i was not able to blog yesternight kasi hyper ako na gumawa ng mga DAPAT gawin. as in, nagpapakabusy ang status message ko sa YM kahapon. hahaha.

my 'exits' in the future
Though this little red button with an 'x' on it is called the Close Button in many Windows programs, I find it cool to still call it the Exit button. Took this pic last night, not knowing what it is for. Until I found the exact definite reason today.
Three hours ago, I was taking a bath. And, yes, I made up my mind - to call my Mom and tell her everything I want to say, those tiny little details in my thoughts that might become the biggest problem for the next few years. In short, I'm bothered by something.
Then I held up my phone, ready to type a looong message for my Mom. But surprisingly, my Mom was calling. Total, she was calling na! Urgh.
There you go, I said to her I was planning (I said planning, kasi after all, it's up to her) to shift to CoE or ECE from the wonderful ID with my wonderful blockmates! I know it may sound cheesy and corny and everything, pero ngayon pa lang, alam ko mamimiss ko kayo. But who knows, I may not shift... or I may. I justified my reasons, pero I know it's not enough. If you readers just know... I haaave sooo many reasons why I want to shift. Pero there were sooo maaany things that made me pick ID as well! :( Haaay buhaaay! :D
And I guess, I'll just STUDY and PRAY hard! :D

biotech lab.
so far, today's biotech lab class is the class wherein i had been the most active third for this year. masyado akong maingay kanina, unlike when i am in any other classes. kapag math, we can't talk too much kasi naman the teacher is discussing. during filipino class, same din, pati na rin sa english (but we also have group works), sa p.e. naman, ok lang. basta kanina talaga maingay ako compared sa other classes.
anyway. here are pictures that may never interest you. here are our findings sa biotech lab class.
these are mixtures of pineapple and some salt solution plus ethanol (ewan ko kung yun nga yun). we were trying to separate the dna strands from the fibers (o ha, ano kaya yun!?).
sabi kasing smile, eh. ayaw nya. yan tuloy. :)) in this picture, he was trying to see if what we did was right.nag-iisa, wala ka na.
a song by noel cabangon that makes me want to cry! :(
watch it here.
tarong.
i was unable to blog about 'tarong' last night. kasi naman, i was overly shocked (though hindi naman talaga, so as to mingle with all the people who were shocked as well) sa mga pangyayari in the play itself.
MAGANDA.
yan lang masasabi ko. it was like the time when we watched 'ang paglilitis ni mang serapio' in ateneo de naga college campus. but this was a three-in-one treat for freshmen students. i dont know, pero sana next year, makapanood pa rin ako ng mga palabas ng entablado. (and i really want to join - if someone will urge me.) maganda kasi talaga, eh.
bulungbulungan sa sangandaan. the first play was i think the best part in terms of the 'issue' thing. and the cast did well. good job. very realistic ang pag-arte nila. basta, maganda. and of course, hindi ko makakalimutan ang twist nito. galing.
pobreng alindahaw. the second play was the funniest one. as in nakakatawa in a sense na hahalakhak ka. ganun! at maganda rin ang story. i find these two first plays had a sad ending.
baclofen. kung pagkain ang third play, ito na siguro ang pinakamasarap. haha. many were shocked, nadiri, nabigla, napatili, napasigaw... pero may isang tuwang-tuwa, and that's me! hahaha.
basta. i want to watch other plays pa rin. entablado, you did a good job. congratulations.

sharing lang.
wala lang. nagulat lang ako may tatlong forwarded messages akong natanggap from my ate. wala sigurong magawa during that time (at malamang unlimited siya - a wild guess). sa tatlong ito, isa lang yung hindi joke. share ko lang. :D
i asked a kid: 'what is love?'
the kid answered: 'hmmm. love is when a man wipe your tears...'
i started to laugh, but then, he added.
'... even after you left Him hung on the cross.'
o see? everytime someone asks us about love, we usually think of a person we truly love, your girlfriend, boyfriend or whoever you call special someone. so i guess, you now know what is love?
goodbye, message box. goodbye, background music. goodbye, labels.
guidance test ba kamo?
yup, it may seem petty, but yes, sumakit and aking pwet sa pagsasagot ng about 480 questions. pwede rin palang maging mahirap ang true or false na type of test no? biruin mo ba naman, nasa isa sa pinakamataas na pamantasan ka, at sa iyong guidance test, itatanong saiyo ito:
1. do you think about sex?
2. do you dream about sex?
3. do you tease animals?
4. do you see things people don't see?
5. do you enjoy marijuana?

Debates and WiFi
Today was a happy day for me. First of all, there were no classes - a simple reason I would definitely love. There were no classes because of the on-going Australs Debate Championship - something like that. I (with the 9:30-11:30AM schedule) witnessed how they (some were like Aussies and Indians, dunno) debate, and nope... I can't do that, sorry. The motion was that If gay or homosexuals should be in the military or not. Did I say it right? So, there...
Today, I also paid the tuition and fees with Chy. And went to Gateway to get the 2 free jackets when we bought my laptop. We also ate there, and used my laptop to access the internet. Happily, Merce had the chance to be with us! :D
After this, we went to National Bookstore. I was even tempted to buy Love In The Time Of Cholera by Garcia. And I was really tempted - I was ready to buy! But I couldn't find it in the display, kept on looking, and finally asked someone there. Luckily, I don't have to spend money... all because it's out of stock na! Yey! I'll just borrow in the library on the following days. :D
We also went to AliMall and had snacks at Jollibee, saw some stuffs in Blue Magic, and that's it. It was raining and getting dark, so Chy and I decided to go home later than expected. And dropped by Matteo Ricci, and still... surf the net. *since Chy had to make her school stuff*

Fabilioh...!
Every moment here in the dorm, we would here a shout of "Fabilioh..." and then randomly, somebody would reply "Fabilioh!" And sometimes, it's like "Fabilioh... Panaloh!" Oh, the spirit of ADMU-DLSU UAAP game! What a joy (when ADMU wins, of course! :D)!
Last thought guys, what does Fabilioh mean anyway!???

the month of June
9 posts???
As of now, June 2008 has the lowest number of posts in my blog. Maybe, that was like the busiest so far, or maybe because I have to adjust with my college life, or maybe because I was just so focus with my Multiply account and kept on posting pictures and videos.
Well, anyway. June is over. And I guess I have adjusted a bit. It's a weekend today, and I was not able to go out with friends, since they ALL went to their homes... sadly. I just watched the two Narnia movies today over watch-movies.net and it was pretty fun.
AND ALSO. Mom is here in Manila, but haven't seen her yet. The four of us (with my bro and sis), will be meeting tomorrow I-dunno-where. My brother said we're going to watch movie (and maybe I can ask him to buy me stuff. hihi.)
So, I guess this is it. My first official post for a good college year! Yey! Welcome back blog. Miss you so much. Hahaha!

the start of 'arsem'
As Kim calls it, the "arsem" just started this morning. Boy, was it tiring. Starting 10am up until 5pm, we kept on looking for upperclassmen and have their signature - the sigsheet signing. Here are some pictures:
This is me and my roommate, Mik. For the first day, our costume must be something that maginifies a physically small object. Well, my sister chose a dice for me! :D The next pic is the back part, so you can really see what I looked like, hahaha.
Yesterday was the pre-OrSem Mass, and finally I was able to attend mass at the Gesu. It was the first time I went there yesterday, as I could only see it on TV when Cory Aquino has her healing mass.

I'm not good
Finally, I'm done with my costumes for OrSem, though they were done out of pressure and lack of money and resources. I became too lazy making this stuff, but exerted effort, at least. Here is one of my visualizations of the costume-kuno:
But it turned out, my drawing is more beautiful than the one I did. And then here's the simplest thing I did, just cut some cartolina and that's it!

Trinoma mishaps and Eastwood night-out
As I have said in my previous posts again and again, OrSem is coming to town. And all I did for today was to go to Trinoma with Chyna and Angel to buy things that are needed. I was able to get 1,000 pesos from my sister (unexpectedly), because I ran out of money... Plus, we were lost a bit... yeah, so there...
Foster night-out tonight, of course. My foster brother Orly and I, with his friends and my other co-freshies, went to Eastwood City, had dinner at Fazoli's. And then went back to Katipunan, because they will DOTA!? Seriously, I don't play computer games since I don't know when. I know I was a Ragnarok addict, but I don't know there is this DOTA era now. Well anyway, I went back to Cervini... ALONE. Hahaha. They are all, well... playing DOTA.
Hm, the day was fun. BUT there were not-so-many pictures to post. :(
:))
PS: I was able to contact my foster sister... through Multiply. Hahaha. At least!

ARSA

Hello. This is my name tag for the ARSA OrSem. ARSA means Ateneo Residence Student Association, meaning this will be the OrSem for our dormitory. And honestly, I feel more nervous for this OrSem than the real OrSem in Ateneo. Why do we really have to wear costumes!? Hehe.
So there. The next 2 weeks will STILL be full of activities after the 3 days of tiresome Ateneo OrSem: Liyab. There's the POSH which was last Saturday. There's the Talent thing tomorrow. And then the foster night outs. Then, the costume week itself! :s
Haaays. I want to go back to Naga, as in right now. Hehe...
again, i'm back
I just don't get it why internet goes on and then off, and then on again, and let us feel very happy, and then turn off again. Well anyway, the internet is once again back. And I'm just about to be very ecstatic. I'm still speechless up to now when I heard the whole block of E3 had their lunch with none other than Ate Elise! :( No one invited me, but it's OK. I myself was busy preparing for the OrSem Costumes! (Shit! Everytime I say 'orsem costumes', I get nervous.)
I have here 2 pictures for you now. First is the Pre-Orsem SHow (POSH). That's me and Chyna, and yes, I still have pimples and yes, my face is still oily. Geez. So me, right? (And yes, I still have big nose.)
The POSH was a bit boring, maybe because the venue was quite big enough for all of us. So we felt like ang konti namin. :D I love wearing my name tag. Better check out my next post about it.
Here's the second pic! Our mini-reunion at Gateway! Oh, I missed them, yes. But I miss more my close friends in Bicol and my family. I really miss my Mom. :( Hehe...

i'm very back
Now that my internet is settled, and everything is fine, I think my blog deserves daily posts for updates in my Ateneo life. So many things happened! And I was really frustrated when I couldn't post my offline blogs in the past week because my Office have just been deactivated. When we bought this new laptop of mine, there was no Office. But I tried, and it ran. But after few days, it started malfunctioning. I can open my files, but I can't edit them anymore. Well, anyway...They said it: No other university does it the way they do... Geez. That was TIRING! The three days were full of activities, as in you would hear them say MOOOBE everytime! And then, we would start complaining. But TNTs are patient, I know, especially ours - Mommy Elise, the one holding the E3 card in the picture. BTW, that's our block, Block E3, the coolest block of Information Design! :D So much for the details, how I wish I can tell you all...
Last Monday, I went to the hidden Loyola House with Ken, Chy, Angel, Pao, Myk and many more. We had this short chat, mass and some food. There are lots of good views here, and this picture here is a shot of Kenneth... So there...
So as of now, the dormers are preparing for the coming ARSA OrSem: Mas! In a while, Testa and I will be doing our huge name tags and of course, take good care of it.

the golden mom
Today, we celebrated my Mom's 50th birthday here at home. The preparation started as early as yesterday, as I have said in my earlier post. Mom even rent a karaoke machine - her dream celebration since she thought of it.
FYI, my mom and my grandmother (her mom) have the same birthday, so it's like a double celebration. Plus, it is also a post-celebration of my high school graduation, and mom's passing the board exam for nursing... so, to compute it, it's quadruple celebration. This was the celebration promised when we didn't make any celeb for my graduation last March, and when Mom passed the exam.
The cake. Actually, it's a gift from someone.
The real celebrants: my Mom and my grandmother - both in Red.
My Mom blowing the 2 small candles.
Only Dad and I were present for today's celebration. My brother and sister might come this coming weekend since they have work. It might be just another celebration!
The early birds had the opportunity to be part of the group picture. Hahaha. The three persons at the right-most are my cousins. They would be going to Manila today. And I think, at this time, they should have arrived.
The theme of this celebration is basically having karaoke. It's my Mom's favorite thing to do, especially in celebrations like these, so there. Some of her former officemates and classmates in nursing came. My cute little cousins also came. (I'm about to upload a cute slideshow of them.) My Dad's friends also came, all the way from Goa. And up until this moment, I can hear them singing, specifically singing "Hero".
What a fun day. Even though I don't have a gift for my Mom, I still am grateful for this celebration. I know I'm gonna give her someday! Hahaha!

a milestone for third
I thought I wouldn't be able to learn Photoshop. But I guess I have just made my first artwork! I used my sister as a model. :D I'm very happy with this, even excited! :DD

new phone, (fast) internet gone

Today, Mom and Dad decided to have our new landline. This is in connection with 2 things.
First, we lost our cordless phone about a week ago. This was when we were playing badminton in the garden. While I was playing with my Dad, Mom was using the phone, and then she put it on the car for a while. Then, Dad bought something and used the car. But then, we forgot that the phone was on the car. That's why it was lost.
Second thing is my going to college this coming June. Since I will leave Naga for a long time, no one will use the broadband. This new phone we have now has dial-up internet. But it's OK.
This for now... goodbye fast internet! :(
kwentuhan part 2
One of our kwentuhan in our last outing in Calabanga - discussing about the canister scandal in Cebu.
the preparation
Everyone is busy right now (except me, though) preparing for tomorrow's celebration of my Mom's 50th birthday. They're cleaning and rearrranging the house a bit. And Ate Liza's cleaning the plates, and the utensils for the food.
The celebration was said to be triple - for Mom's birthday, for Mom's passing the exam, for my high school graduation. Hmmm... :D
PS: Mom was very happy with her carbonara because she cooked it herself!
4218 Reunion (Calabanga)
We had it at Cate's Resort and Recreation in Calabanga last May 19-20, 2008.
We first met at Ateneo de Naga Main Campus to wait for the others. Here's a couple of pictures:

Before heading to Calabanga, they bought some food first in Residencia. While the girls were buying some food, pumunta muna kami kina Arcci, para pilitin siya to come with us! And yes, Aisha was there, too.
:D Ayaw ni Aisha to have a pic, so I will not bother to post any. She might see this one! :DD We also saw Magno, and try to invite him!!! :D
We traveled longer than expected. We thought we would be able to swim at around 6 because the meeting time was 5. But we arrived at 7 pm. And we still had the dinner. It was a very CLEAN and fun dinner. We ate using 2 banana leaves with the aid of our hands!:
After the dinner, of course, we swam! I don't have any pictures while we were swimming because we used Ken's and Ma'am Asther's camera. So go hunt them. :D We also played with the resort's lamp posts, since it they creat a good banaag effect with lights. An example is this:
After all the fun, most of us slept in the cottage itself, but comfortably. It's a remarkable thing 6 of us have not slept. We just had a chat until early morning. When everyone was awake, we had this funny pictorial with me being the photographer! Wahaha. Here are some:
Banaags waiting for the sunrise. Most of them still sleepy yet. A nice view, innit?
Joy, Dea and Angel with partial view of the resort before sunrise.
The three of them trying to make a parody of Saan Ka Man Naroroon.
Before we left the resort, Ma'am Asther gave us a small gift she got from her trip to Bohol. Some had bracelet (nice Dea), and keychains. Me, I had this one, a tarsier.
And that was it, a successful "at-last" reunion for our class. One of the last ones, but it won't be the last! After this one, we went to McDo back in Naga City to have some breakfast.
Kat and Hubert.
Dea and Magno.
For the complete set of pictures, go here.

cousins :D
Today, my cousins and my aunt came over, and brought us some buko juice! Here are some pictures while having a chat in the office:
All of us made this pose:
This is JGo, my cousin.
This is JM, JGo's younger sister.
She's Tita Pidz, JM and JGo's mom! :D
This is our grandmother. Haha! But it's not her hand!
It's my Mom!!!
And this is me! :D
My 2 cousins and my Mom.
Plus, my grandma!
JGo!
My Mom doing the Singing Bee gesture.
I'll upload the videos in a while. Hahaha! You better watch out for it. :D
mom and her curtain
My Mom was very excited about her new curtain. It's the blue one, and she really likes it, even decided to have a picture with it. :D She bought it yesterday, and was very happy about it! This is in our office last night.

danny in words
Here's a description of me Ken made:
Danny is a friend, singer, dancer, actor, model, artist and webmaster all rolled into one. Of all the people I’ve met in my life, he is one of the few people whom I am really comfortable with. Though we only truly hanged out this fourth year, I never doubted his extraversion, skills and altruism. Actually, he is one of the few people whom I felt care from. Given this, he is all that you would want from a friend and a brother. Given these and his very positive disposition in life, he is sometimes taken for granted. But he is also a fighter and I’ve seen the staunchness of his character first-hand. So Danny, kick butt in Ateneo. I believe that you’ll go the distance.
I find it funny, though - ever since, he calls me Danny! :P
For more of these interesting descriptions to our other classmates, just go here.

tabatabachingching
These videos are from my brother's phone. I thought mom would be glad seeing these once I get back to Naga! :D
some pictures

This is me before leaving Naga last May 12 evening. I'm just surprised and alarmed seeing my face VERY round - a proof of getting fat! :(
This is the clinic where I had my medex. While waiting for the doctor to call me, I just thought of taking this pic.
This is my brother - when we had dinner yesterday at Teriyaki Boy in Gateway.

Awww... these are my nieces. They're so cute, aren't they? And FYI, I haven't seen the younger one, the one with no sunglasses. :D
